Since you’ve decided to share your voice with us along with your words of wisdom, just wanted to say that you exude intelligence and expertise but just may want to remember to breathe and slow your pace down ever so slightly. It will help the listener be able to take in each idea without worrying they missed something as you move on. Otherwise, good luck in this audio phase!

Thanks so much for the pointer, Louis! It's a new process, so the comments and suggestions are very helpful. Did you listen to both voiceovers I've done so far? Did the second feel improved in that regard at all?

I think you're totally right that learning to slow down is a major obstacle for me. I've made leaps and bounds in the past few weeks, but I've never been very good at reading outloud and have always had a tendency to rush. Especially with any longer piece, I always catch myself accelerating a bit.

Thanks for the support!

They both seemed about the same. Not sure if it's possible but it would be good to record paragraphs separately and repeat them until your happy. Going all at once just increases the anxiety about messing up. If not, it's still good.

Just to make sure I'm not losing anyone over a potential misunderstanding, I hope you don't think from this title that I'm a Trump supporter. I'm firmly in the Kamala camp. Thanks for reading!

I got your point, I’m against Trump too. Voting blue right along with you. 😊
